Margaret graduated from the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Human Kinetics, University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She has a Masters in Human Kinetics and a Diploma in Prosthetics & Orthotics. She is a Certified NCCP Level II Figure Skating Coach (not to mention an accredited yoga instructor, a certified orthotist and prosthetist, and fitness trainer) and is Board Certified in Biofeedback. She has presented and published extensively, and has received grant support in her areas of expertise.
